Who Contacts All Of My Creditors?

You are protected at the moment we file your case, and creditors are prohibited from contacting you from that point forward. (If you need that relief, call 210-930-7000 to schedule a free Debt Consultation.) The next step is to inform creditors of the filing of the case.

The US Bankruptcy Clerk will mail a copy of the Notice of Case Filing to all the creditors listed in the paperwork that accompanies your bankruptcy petition. You and each of the creditors should receive a copy of the Notice of Case Filing within 2 weeks of the filing of your case. If a creditor contacts you between the time that you file and the time that the creditor receives the notice from the Bankruptcy Clerk, simply tell your creditor that you filed and provide the creditor your case number.

Are you interested in stopping the harassing phone calls and threatening letters? Call today to see how bankruptcy can help you.
